The Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius is famous for it’s sun, sand, sea and celeb’s. But Mauritius has far more to offer from shopping, diving, sight seeing opportunities and exploring what a better place to spend your honeymoon?

Grenada the “Spice Island” is an amazing place to experience an amazing honeymoon with a truly Caribbean feel. The warmth and charm of the Grenadian people will leave you enchanted and wanting to come back time after time. With much to see and do in Grenada you can do as much or as little as you would like from visiting the Worlds first amazing underwater sculptures to the romantic waterfalls and lots of local tours Grenada has it all!

How long is left for the Maldives Islands?

Maldives

The Maldives famous for its pristine white powder beaches,amazing dive sites Climate changes threatens the existence of many destinations,with one of those being the Maldives as most likely one of the first to disappear.

It is thought that the Islands in the Maldives could be submerged by the end of the century. The Islands contribute just 0.001% of greenhouse gas emissions and will suffer with problems that it did not create. One of the largest problems are protecting the shoreline and beaches and managing waste.

The big problem is that the biggest contributor to the Islands is tourism double edged sword as they just can’t afford to turn the tourists away. So what can be done to help the Maldives? And the big question is how long will they survive?

Royal Caribbean Cruises

Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line are set to rule the waves with their revolutionary and worlds largest new ships Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas which are due to launch December 09 and December 2010. After an amazing few days cruising on the RCI sister company Celebrity Cruise Line (which was my first ever cruise) I must say that I just can’t wait to try out one of these Giants!

At over 360 meters long, 16 decks accommodating 6,296 passengers and 2, 165 crew these mammoth ships hold everything you could possibly want, even Central Park in the center of the ship, with themed areas from themed gardens with thousands of tropical plants. Oasis of the Seas will also have an AquaTheatre, rock climbing walls, a carousel, mini golf course, zip wire, flow rider, ample pools and water features for children, and when the kids are having fun there plenty to keep you occupied to with beauty salon, spa. In fact there is so much to see and do on these ships you simply just could not get board and on top of all that waking up in a new destination most days – how could this possibly not be one of the best holidays anyone can ever have?

Now all I need is some time off and to get it booked!

American Airlines Announces New Routes from Manchester to NY

American Airlines have recently announced that it will be adding a new service for passengers travelling from Manchester to New York JFK. The new summer seasonal non-stop daily service is scheduled to begin operation on the 16th May 2010 until 30th September 2010. Lets hope it proves to be successful and continue to extend the dates available!

Now us from the North will find it easier to get our shopping breaks to New York without having to travel via London.

The first Armani Hotel is due to open later this year in Burj Dubai - the worlds tallest tower. The hotel which will hold 175 rooms and suites and will feature a world-class spa and is just steps away from the worlds largest shopping mall the Dubai Mall which houses over 600 shops, an aquarium and an ice rink.

Sun, sea, sand, spa’s and shop, shop, shop. What a fab place for a girly weekend or Hen Do!!!
